Copland’s Clarinet Concerto [Jan. 9/2013]

Principal clarinetist Graham Lord takes centre stage for Aaron Copland’s Concerto for Clarinet, Strings, and Harp, originally written for jazz clarinetist Benny Goodman. Ives’ The Unanswered Question, Villa-Lobos’ Bachiannas Brasileiras No. 9, Oesterle’s The Sparrow’s Ledger, and Viver’s Zipangu are also on this exciting program by composers from the Americas.
